November 8 to January 20 is the perfect time to explore the awesomeness extending beyond our dominant 916 region, because Folsom’s Historic District Ice Rink is open for business. Rental fees are $2, adult tickets are $10 and children’s are $8… and tickets include a free parking and light rail pass so you really don’t have any reason not to go. The rink is open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week (holidays included) and is surrounded by great food and shopping spots, which makes this location perfect for a day trip.
