California Craft Beer Summit

Craft beer lovers rejoice! The first ever California Craft Beer Summit is so close you can almost taste it. This two-day, one-of-a-kind event going down on Sept. 11 and 12 will bring some of the Golden State’s biggest names in craft beer to Sacramento for tap talks, demos, craft sessions, beer releases and more! An estimated 150 breweries will be pouring their finest brews. Industry legends like Ken Grossman, founder and president of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., will join new and notable California brewing stars like Yuseff Cherney, head brewer at Ballast Point; Greg Koch, CEO and co-founder of Stone Brewing; Natalie and Vinnie Cilurzo, co-owners of Russian River Brewing Company; David Walker of Firestone Walker Brewing Co.; Patrick Rue, founder/CEO of The Bruery; and so many others. All day on Friday, Sept. 11 there will be educational courses at the Sacramento Convention Center, as well as most of the day on Saturday, Sept. 12. Then at 4 p.m. on Saturday it’s time for the big shebang in front of the State Capitol: the Brewers Showcase Beer Festival! Enjoy live music, great food and mingling with brewers and other craft beer lovers all while enjoying the best Californian beers on the market as well as limited, rare releases.
