For those who have been around the Sacramento music scene for a while, the name Mike Sparks Jr. will likely ring a bell. The multi-instrumentalist and songwriter has been involved with a plethora of groups with heavy local ties like Mister Metaphor, Bridges, By Sunlight, An Angle and Doombird, to name a few. Now based in Seattle, Sparks’ newest project Noonmoon will release their debut album Vanisher on Feb. 17, 2017 via Chain Letter Collective.

The band’s bio states that Noonmoon “seeks hypnosis through expansion and retraction; swells and subtractions,” and that their sound “focuses on palleted drone and repetition.”

Vanisher will be available everywhere you get digital music.

Submerge is happy to bring you an exclusive premiere of the epic six-minute track “Triptych.”
